Samantha Reser – Resident Director

Samantha Reser joined the NTPA family in 2023. She received her BFA in Theatre for Young Audiences with a minor in Directing from Oklahoma City University, and recently completed her Masters degree in Theatre for Young Audiences at the University of Central Florida. Using experience as a teacher, director, actor, and musician, Samantha Reser’s mission is to create theatre that is accessible for youth regardless of financial status, ability, or previous theatre experience. She strives to teach empathy for others by using fundamental acting techniques and creative play. She believes achieving this goal will create a kinder, more sympathetic world, one theatrical experience at a time. Favorite directing credits at NTPA include Willy Wonka Jr, High School Musical 2 Jr, Willy Wonka KIDS, and of course, The Wizard of Oz! She has also had the pleasure of music directing shows such as Fiddler on the Roof Jr, The Sound of Music Youth Edition, Singing in the Rain, Miss Nelson is Missing, Freaky Friday, and Matilda Jr.
