Mindy White – Adjunct Director
Mindy has always been passionate about the performing arts and spent her youth singing, dancing, and acting. She went on to earn an Honors BA in English and an M.Ed. in Teaching & Learning, both from The University of Utah. She toured Europe singing with the university’s A Cappella Choir and has directed various choirs for children and adults. She helped to reopen the historic Empress Theatre in Magna, Utah, serving as Programs Department Chair and on the board of directors. She has been teaching for over 20 years in different capacities, including a long career as a learning experience designer and consultant. She’s also had an extensive side gig as a voiceover artist. She continues to study vocal pedagogy and enjoys helping singers build their confidence and develop healthy vocal techniques. Past directing credits include Frozen JR, Seussical Kids, and Junie B. Jones JR. Past favorite acting roles include Edwin Drood/Alice Nutting (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), Tzeitel and Hodel (Fiddler on the Roof), and Antonia (Man of La Mancha). Mindy loves supporting her three daughters who also spend most of their free time performing. In her spare time, Mindy enjoys attending performing arts events with her husband and girls or relaxing at home with their three dogs. She is revitalized by nature and travels to her beloved Wyoming and Utah mountains as often as possible!
