Rachel Fetter

Rachel has served on the Academy Board for 3 years. She is currently serving as the Board Chair for the NTPA Academy. Rachel has four children that have all been involved with NTPA in some form. Her son graduated from the NTPA Academy and both him and her older son are pursuing careers in the Arts. She has two daughters who attend the NTPA Academy and love being at NTPA every day! Rachel performed in Musicals during her youth and is thrilled that her children have the opportunity to do so at NTPA. She has her BA in International Studies from The Ohio State University and a Law Degree from The George Washington University.

Amy joined the Academy Board in the fall of 2022. She is a longtime resident of Plano and has 2 children. Her daughter, Molly, is a first-year student at the Academy and has been active with NTPA since 2018. Amy holds a MA in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from SMU and a MBA in Strategic Leadership from Amberton. She’s been a clinician at Children’s Health in psychiatry since 2008. Amy was formerly on the board of the YMSL Wildcat chapter and served as Membership VP. Amy is passionate about the arts and youth and excited to be part of this board.

Alicia Duffy

Alicia joined the NTPA Academy board, drawn by its collaborative spirit and her desire to support her daughter, Chloe, who has been passionate about the performing arts since she was a toddler. After taking on countless different roles in numerous NTPA productions—too many to count—she is now attending the NTPA Academy full-time.Alicia’s professional journey began with a degree in arts and science, leading her from a career as a registered nurse to real estate 25 years ago.Her passion for volunteering started with Plano ISD, where she supported fundraisers and events that kept her connected to her children’s lives. She also volunteers at S.O.U.L. every Sunday, finding joy in supporting the homeless community. In her spare time—if such a thing exists—Alicia enjoys spending time with family, is a tech enthusiast, and a DIY hobbyist.

Leanne Libby

Leanne Libby joined the Academy board in 2021 and is now serves as fundraising chair. She lives in Plano with her husband and two daughters. Her oldest daughter Fiona is a student at The Academy, and has been involved with NTPA since 2018. Leanne is the DFW Publisher for Community Impact News, and also serves on the Plano Chamber of Commerce board of Directors. She enjoys volunteering in various roles on NTPA productions and is excited to be a part of the growth of the Academy.

Kimberly is a Registered Nurse and mom to actor Birdie Martin. Her volunteer experience includes the Junior League, Kappa Kappa Gamma, National Service League, and school fundraising. In her free time she loves to read, sew, paint, play with her dog, watch Birdie perform, and take naps. Her favorite Broadway show is…she can’t decide.

Melissa Winton
Melissa Winton
Melissa Winton studied musical theater at Seminole State University in Orlando, FL, before earning a Bachelor’s in English Literature from Southern New Hampshire University. She has certifications in Special Effects Makeup, Theatrical Design, and Roman Architecture. Melissa has enjoyed a successful career as a professional Scenic Designer for the Halloween & Haunted Attractions Industry and has taught seminars, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops for costume and scenic design at conventions, conferences, and trade shows nationwide.

Melissa is grateful for the opportunity to share her talents and knowledge with aspiring artists and designers at the North Texas Performing Arts Academy and is honored to fulfill the role of the Academy’s Head of Theatrical Design and serve as Secretary on the Academy’s Board.
