North Texas Performing Arts proudly announces that Ashlee Elizabeth (Lizz) Bashore has been appointed as the new Artistic Director for NTPA Repertory Theatre. In this critical role, Bashore will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of NTPA’s adult theatre programs, including NTPA Repertory Theatre, NTPA Community Theatre, and other adult offerings. Lizz will also be directing and producing the NTPA Summer Musicals productions of Grease and Pippin!
Lizz received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a minor in Dance and Musical Theatre from Temple University, then went on to complete her Masters in Fine Arts in Acting from Southern Methodist University.
Her experience as a performer and director in Philadelphia, New York, and Dallas, combined with her position as a professor of theatre at various DFW colleges and universities, makes her a valuable addition to the NTPA team.
