
Cassandra GalvanChairperson
Cassandra has served on the Academy Board for one year. She is the mother of two beautiful daughters, one of which is a 3rd year Academy student. She loves the Academy’s approach to theater education which stresses the “Ten Characters”. Cassandra and her husband are excited to participate in the Adult Education program and have been tremendously enjoying Improv classes at the Plano location. She will tell you, “It is wonderful to find a community and artistic home within NTPA.” You will often see her with her camera as she loves to capture photos of the kids at their happiest. Cassandra comes to NTPA service with an extensive background in accounting, compliance and technology operations as a current member of the financial services industry.

Rachel Fetter
I graduated from The Ohio State University and The George Washington University School of Law. I practiced law briefly and then went into youth programs work. I have served on the young leadership board of the Jewish Federation as well as on the Parent’s Association Board and The Arts People Board of Parish Episcopal School. I have also been responsible for creating the school yearbook for the da Vinci School for the past few years. I am married to Evan Fetter and have four children who all participate in NTPA in various ways.

Leanne Libby
Leanne Libby joined the Academy board at the end of 2021 and is now serving as a co-chair for fundraising. She lives in Plano with her husband and two daughters. Her oldest daughter Fiona is a first-year student at The Academy, and has been involved with NTPA since 2018. Leanne is the General Manager of Community Impact Newspaper, and also serves on the Plano Chamber of Commerce board and the Plano ISD Education Foundation board. She enjoys volunteering in various roles on NTPA productions and is excited to be a part of the growth of the Academy.

Kathryn Lysko
Kathryn joined the Academy Board at the end of 2021. She lives in Allen with her 2 children. Her daughter, Kelly, is a first-year student at the Academy’s new Fairview campus. Kathryn runs a small business agency, Right Hand Marketing, providing social media, web updates and email campaigns to organizations that don’t have internal expertise or staffing in those areas. She has previously served on the board for the Dallas chapter of International Association of Business Communicators. Kathryn is excited to be a part of this educational organization, and appreciates the positive and inclusive learning environment provided by the NTPA Academy. Students here have choices about the online program they choose for core classes and have amazing, interactive performing arts courses offered at both campuses.

Jeana Pullen
Jeana has had over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has owned and practiced at A Safe Place to Heal in McKinney for over 18 years. Jeana fell in love with everything NTPA stands for in 2013 when her daughter, Emmerson, found her passion for theatre. Jeana was honored to serve on the Repertory Board from its inception in 2017 until 2019 when her daughter began the NTPA Academy and she transitioned to that board. She is proud to continue serving NTPA on the Academy Board as the Production Committee Chair. She and her daughter have participated in numerous NTPA community productions together and have created countless memories through this amazing organization. She spends countless hours volunteering for NTPA and has met lifelong friends as a result of her volunteer work. Her favorite kind of weekend is full of shows where she can see her fellow theatre friends, volunteer, tell new families about NTPA and most importantly, watch her daughter shine on the stage she now calls home.

Amy Torrescano
Amy joined the Academy Board in the fall of 2022. She is a longtime resident of Plano and has 2 children. Her daughter, Molly, is a first-year student at the Academy and has been active with NTPA since 2018. Amy holds a MA in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from SMU and a MBA in Strategic Leadership from Amberton. She’s been a clinician at Children’s Health in psychiatry since 2008. Amy was formerly on the board of the YMSL Wildcat chapter and served as Membership VP. Amy is passionate about the arts and youth and excited to be part of this board.
