Tori Edwards, Adjunct Director
Tori Edwards is a passionate and hard-working artist who brings awareness and empathy to her community through the framework of performance. Her passion for theatre motivates her when advocating for the arts. Through the art of storytelling, she is exploring fresh and innovative ways to connect with students, peers, and underrepresented communities on stage and in the classroom to further ignite the fire for art amongst this generation and beyond. Tori has a B.A. in Theatre with an Emphasis in Acting and Directing as well as a Dance Certification from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi. Tori recently graduated with an MFA in Theatre with an emphasis in Acting from the University of Central Florida. Go Knights, Charge On! Tori recently served as an education and performance intern at the largest professional theater in Central Florida, Orlando Shakespeare Theater. She spent her time there teaching the youth of Orlando about the power of storytelling and performed in their 2022-2023 mainstage season. She has taught several collegiate theatre courses focused on the fundamentals of acting. She is a DFW native who has performed all throughout the metroplex and the United States. Favorite Directing Credits: The Melville Boys, Leviticus, Junie B Jones Jr, and The Aristocats KIDS. Favorite Choreography Credits: The Drowsy Chaperone, Xanadu Jr, Fiddler on the Roof Jr, The Little Mermaid Jr, and Legally Blonde Jr. Favorite Performance Credits: Humpty Dumpty/Mama Ogre in Shrek, Natalie Haller in All Shook Up, Fern in Charlotte’s Web, Fred’s Wife in A Christmas Carol, and Heather Macanamara in Heathers.
