Try out the NTPA Academy Conservatory – Free Trial Classes for Grades 4-12!
Come EXPERIENCE the Conservatory at NTPA Academy with our annual, innovative program specifically tailored for prospective students in Plano and Fairview! Step into the world of the Academy and experience classes that are typically only available to our currently-enrolled Conservatory students. Learn from DFW’s best professional theatre educators in this free program that allows parents and students to try Academy classes absolutely free of charge.
North Texas Performing Arts – Academy offers a high quality and challenging educational experience in a supportive learning environment to young artists with a passion for the performing arts. Now offering seven performing arts certifications, the Conservatory provides a unique educational approach different from traditional public, private, and at-home education. Conservatory students are prepared for the collegiate and professional world through a rigorous and comprehensive educational and experiential learning model.
Enrollment for The Academy Experience is now open for both campuses in Willow Bend and Fairview. This free week of training is a perfect opportunity for students in grades 4-12 to try out Conservatory classes, get free tickets to an Academy show, and explore the best arts education for middle and high school-aged students in North Texas.

Daily Schedule
| 9:00 AM | Check-in, breakfast provided by the Academy, tour of the space |
| 10:00 AM | Academy Core learning, bring a book or schoolwork and meet with our Core academic advisors |
| 12:20 PM | Lunch (please bring a lunch from home) |
| 1:00 PM | Academy Conservatory Class |
| 3:00 PM | Classes end |
Students can sign up for afternoon classes only or the full day experience, including Core learning to meet with advisors and tour the space.
The Core
NTPA offers a flexible approach to support State of Texas-required core instruction through The Core at The Academy. The Core education model enables a student to pursue their independent academic study in a safe and flexible learning environment. Always staffed by our highly-qualified Core academic advisors, this on-site, comfortable study space keeps students focused on their middle and high school core education. Students can participate in any online curriculum, including virtual public or private school programs, through our guided independent study model.
