As North Texas Performing Arts continues to grow and expand to fulfill its mission to develop the character of youth through performing arts education and quality entertainment, we rely upon a dedicated staff of professionals to support the programs that “develop characters” of over 11,000 youth each year and support one of the most prolific adult theatre programs in the DFW metroplex.

I am pleased to announce the promotion of DeAnna Stone to NTPA – Frisco Managing Director.

DeAnna has been involved with NTPA for many years, first through the involvement of her children in NTPA’s programs, and then as an instructor, director, and leader on the NTPA staff. DeAnna was instrumental in developing and launching the NTPA – Academy and has served as the Academy’s Managing Director since its inception in 2018. As a homeschooling mom of four herself, DeAnna brought unique insight and passion for creating opportunities for students that desire an alternative style in education. Through her guidance in program development and admissions, the NTPA Academy has grown 250% over the past three years, and expanded this fall to a second campus at Fairview Youth Theatre.

DeAnna will now lead the NTPA – Frisco Theatre troupe, guiding and directing NTPA’s operations across one of the fastest growing theatres in the NTPA family. Her focus will be on building community energy, expanding our already incredible talent, and continuing the work to create a new theatre home for our Frisco youth programs. Save the date to join DeAnna this spring as she directs The Little Mermaid, auditioning in March and performing in June at the Lewisville Grand Theater.

DeAnna has worked in youth education for two decades, and prior to joining NTPA served McKinney Area Christian Homeschoolers (MArCH) as President, Vice President and Enrichment Theatre Department Managing Director, teaching and directing children with a passion for theatre between the ages of 3 and 18, and as a leader in the Home School Athletic Association.
