As North Texas Performing Arts continues to grow and expand to fulfill its mission to develop the character of youth through performing arts education and quality entertainment, we rely upon a dedicated staff of professionals to support the programs that “develop characters” of over 11,000 youth each year and support one of the most prolific adult theatre programs in the DFW metroplex.
I am pleased to announce the promotion of Jackie Miller to NTPA Vice President of Finance and Administration.
Jackie joined us two years ago, and has been a tremendous difference maker for NTPA, fundamentally changing the way NTPA manages its back-office operations. Under her guidance, we have seen reductions in customer service response-times, enhanced accounting practices, and provided an improved experience for staff, patrons, and vendors. She also oversaw our emergency loan application process that was crucial to helping NTPA financially survive during the pandemic.
In this role, Jackie will continue to oversee our financial management functions and will also be taking on additional theatre administration functions including human resources, house management, volunteer training, and other critical back-stage functions.
Jackie Miller has worked in the accounting and business field for over 15 years. She specializes in accounting, office administration, employee management, and customer support. Prior to finding her NTPA home, she most recently served as Accounting Supervisor for the Hawaiian Falls Waterparks for almost 10 years and assisted in their growth from four to seven locations. She has a true passion for her work at NTPA to support the organization’s mission and is excited for the future of this new, expanded role.
Please join me in offering our congratulations to our new Vice President of Finance and Administration, Jackie Miller.
