NTPA is proud to host this year’s 2022 Congressional Art Exhibition. The exhibit is free to view and will be on display April 21-May 1 in the Neiman Marcus Welcome Center.

Since 1982, hundreds of thousands of high school students have participated in this nationwide art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each Congressional district. Open to all high school students who reside in the Third Congressional District of Texas, the Grand Prize Winner will have their art displayed for one year in a national exhibition located in the Cannon Tunnel, a pedestrian walkway leading to the U.S. Capitol. The second place winner will have their artwork displayed in Congressman Taylor’s Collin County office.

This is the second time NTPA has hosted the competition for Texas’s Third District. This year’s exhibit features fifty-two original art entries from local high school student.

“I want to commend this year’s entrants on their creativity as they share their artistic endeavors with our community as part of this competition. I also want to thank our area educators, families, and friends who have encouraged our students to foster their artistic talent,” said Taylor.

Winners of this year’s Competition will announced at a later date.

More information on the Congressional Art Competition can be found on Congressman Taylor’s website.
