Teresa Schlabach

Teresa loves to travel and learn about other countries and cultures. She combines her photography of these experiences with threads and fibers to create thread paintings. These works of art reflect the experiences she sees through her lens. She prints her photos on fabric and then re-creates the photo with thread. Her hope is that people will see the beauty of the world that she has seen through her art.

Michael Rowland

Michael’s lifelong interest in art, a love of nature, and photography found an unexpected creative outlet in fiber art. His photographs, sketches, and photo-manipulations are the foundations for artistic interpretations of the world around him. Through the layering of fabrics, use of hand dyed fabrics and yarns, vibrant and metallic threads, etc., he is able to create art pieces he hopes will create an emotional response from the viewer.

Additional work from Teresa and Michael can be seen at teresasthreadstudio.com and etsy.com/shop/TeresasThreadStudio
