Celebrate Our NTPA Directors This February!

February is our TEN CHARACTERS MONTH to LOVE ONE ANOTHER, so what a PERECT moment to take time to show appreciation for the directors who lead our students with heart every day. Our Valentine’s Giving Campaign is a simple way to say thank you to the people who give so much of themselves to our stages, our classrooms, and our community.

Director Appreciation Gift Box

Each theatre will feature a secure “Director Appreciation Gift Box” where patrons can leave a note of thanks, gift card, small gift, or message of encouragement.

Online Gift

Make an Online Gift to Your Favorite Directors!
Can’t make it to an NTPA location? You can still show your appreciation by making a monetary gift online to one or multiple Directors.

You also have the option to contribute to a shared “Director Appreciation Pool,” which will be distributed among our Directors as a supplemental “Appreciation Bonus.”

All submitted notes will be printed and shared with our Directors as part of a thoughtful Teacher Appreciation keepsake to remind them how valued they are.

Teacher Appreciation Gift Giving Details – February 2026

Please note the following important details regarding gifts to Directors during our February Appreciation campaign:

  • Gifts made directly to individual Directors (including cash, checks, or gift cards) are not considered tax-deductible by the IRS.
  • 100% of monetary gifts made through the NTPA online portal will be paid to the selected Director(s) as an “Appreciation Bonus” (less applicable employee taxes and deductions as required by law). There are no administrative or credit card processing fees deducted.
  • Gifts to the Director Appreciation Pool will be distributed among eligible Directors as an Appreciation Bonus, proportionally based on the number of productions directed from May 2025 – January 2026. These gifts are generally considered tax-deductible to the donor. Donors should consult their tax advisor for individual implications.
  • Donations to NTPA’s General Operating Fund support ongoing programming, including Director compensation. These contributions are tax-deductible.

Please note: Participation in this appreciation effort is completely voluntary. Families, patrons, and students should feel no obligation to contribute. NTPA’s Director Code of Conduct and Casting Philosophy make it clear that no gifts, donations, or contributions will influence casting or production decisions in any way.
