About the Workshop
A high-energy training class series designed specifically for high school theater students looking to ace their next school, community, or college theater audition. You will learn how to pick up choreography quickly, blend jazz and hip-hop techniques, and perform with the storytelling confidence that directors look for.
Theater Choreography Pickup: Practice learning musical theater jazz combos and stylized hip-hop routines accurately and fast.
Dancing as Acting: Learn how to stay in character and tell a story through your movement while executing tough steps.
The “Dance Call”: Experience mock auditions to build confidence when dancing in small groups in front of a panel.
Clean Technique: Sharpen your jazz lines, extensions, and hip-hop grooves so your movements look polished and intentional.
Standing Out in the Ensemble: Discover how to showcase your unique personality and energy without pulling focus from the group.
