About NTPA Studios

In this premiere program, students in grades 5-12 learn to produce film with training opportunities both in front of and behind the camera. Following NTPA’s successful production model, students audition, rehearse, and perform a production, but instead of a stage production, these programs end in a video production. Each film will be performed and produced by NTPA students, and the final film will be screened for a public audience at the conclusion of the production.

What is the Film Premiere Like?

Join us for the first film premiere of NTPA Studios!

Cast, crew, and patrons are encouraged to dress their best as they arrive to a red carpet with photo opportunity. Immediately following the film, Executive Producer Greg McKnight and Creative Director Tammara Wright will hold a 30-minute Q&A.

Synopsis

NTPA Studios is proud to premiere an exciting NEW original script from NTPA’s own Greg McKnight – DIGITality. After five successful musical theatre premieres (Nightshade at Christmas, The Adventure of BetaKid, Simon Says, The Adventure of GammaKid, Festiville), Greg returns with his first screenplay written specifically for NTPA’s brand new educational film program, NTPA Studios.

Kyrie is a high school student who is given two digital pets to help with the struggles of high school. However, these digital pets come with their own struggles. Kyrie’s personality types are being tested and she must figure out which one she wants to use in the real world. In this short film, we see how Kyrie’s personality types struggle with each other as they work together in order to solve the issue at hand.
