Synopsis

At the height of the Roman Empire, the elite of Rome rule over a vast empire of wealth and glory. And at the height of this pyramid of power stands one man-  Julius Caesar. His power and influence over the people of Rome kindles the jealousy of the man Caius Cassius, who begins to plot Caesar’s demise. Cassius incites fear of Caesar’s power into his friend Brutus, and then together they quickly pull numerous others to their deadly cause. After dealing with Caear however, what they thought would lead to peace instead turns into political disaster, military upheaval, and enemies hide behind every corner. Who to trust becomes less and less clear, and those who conspired against Caesar begin to doubt even themselves. As the conspirators plan the final showdown against Caesar’s followers the only rule is this: keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.
