Synopsis
When a group of rising actors is promised the performance of a lifetime with a new experimental implant that allows them to literally become their characters, the results are spectacular: performances sharpen, timing improves, and the comedy flows effortlessly. But for Blair Hastings, a fiercely determined lead eager to prove herself, this dream-come-true morphs into a nightmare when she discovers the implant isn’t entirely reversible—and soon she can’t stop performing.
As Blair’s character begins to bleed into real life, hidden resentments surface, a buried secret threatens to unravel, and the production becomes a pressure cooker of obsession and ambition. Meanwhile, those pulling the strings—a calculated director, opportunistic producer, and two conflicted doctors—struggle to contain a performance no one anticipated.
