Synopsis

It all begins when a die-hard theatre-fan, known simply as the ‘Man in Chair,’ plays his favorite cast album to cure his ‘blue’ mood. The fictional 1928 musical magically bursts to life in his living room, telling the madcap tale of a pampered Broadway starlet who wants to give up show business to get married, her producer who sets out to sabotage the nuptials, her tipsy chaperone, and a host of other hilarious, eccentric characters.
