Synopsis

“Oliver Twist” is a concise yet powerful adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic novel, condensed into a fast-paced 30-40 minute film. This student production brings to life the timeless tale of Oliver Twist, an orphan boy who navigates the harsh realities of 19th-century London.
Expelled from a cruel workhouse, Oliver journeys to the city where he falls in with a gang of child thieves led by the cunning Fagin. As Oliver struggles to survive, his fate becomes intertwined with a colorful cast of characters, including the menacing Bill Sikes, the kind-hearted Mr. Brownlow, and the mysterious Miss Maylie.
Featuring an expanded ensemble of talented young actors, “Oliver Twist” offers a fresh take on a beloved story, while staying true to the heart of Dickens’ social commentary. Through a series of dramatic twists and turns, the film follows Oliver’s quest for a place to call home in a world that seems stacked against him.

Synopsis

Disney Channel’s smash hit movie musical comes to life your stage in Disney’s High School Musical JR. Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extra curricular activities. The show’s infectious, danceable songs are sure to engage performers and audiences alike.

It’s the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes all find their cliques. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. The couple cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical. Although many students resent the threat posed to the “status quo,” Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.

Synopsis

This program is adapted and performed by youth and adults with various disabilities.

Rebellion is nigh in Matilda JR., a gleefully witty ode to the the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination! This story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the “revolting children” who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson. Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence… and special powers! She’s unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing, however – the school’s mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don’t abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils’ saving grace!

Synopsis

Adapted from the three-time-Tony-nominated Broadway hit comes A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS. Based on Arnold Lobel’s well-loved books, the jazzy, upbeat score bubbles with melody. Part vaudeville, part make-believe, and all charm, A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons.

This whimsical show follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog, and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. Throughout the year, two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special.

Synopsis

The enchanting modern classic from Disney is ready for your Broadway Junior stars! Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. To discourage “no show” audition reservations, NTPA will charge a “No Show Fee” of $15.00 for 6-12th grade productions to those students that commit and then skip their audition time slots.  A reminder will be sent via email at least two weeks prior to the audition, and the student can change or cancel their audition time slot up to 24 hours prior to the audition without incurring a fee.

Synopsis

This girl-loves-ghoul rock ‘n’ roll Off Broadway musical is set in the atomic 1950s at Enrico Fermi High, where the law is laid down by a zany, tyrannical principal. Pretty senior Toffee has fallen for the class bad boy. Family pressure forces her to end the romance, and he charges off on his motorcycle to the nuclear waste dump. He returns glowing and determined to reclaim Toffee’s heart. He still wants to graduate, but most of all he wants to take Toffee to the prom. The principal orders him to drop dead while a scandal reporter seizes on him as the freak du jour. History comes to his rescue while a tuneful selection of original songs that keeps the action rocking across the stage.

Synopsis

While in Mr. Scary’s class, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard — and she may need glasses. Dear Edwina JR. is a heartwarming musical about the joys of growing up, from the creators of Junie B. Jones, The Musical. Written in a “show-within-a-show” format, Dear Edwina JR. is the perfect “girl power” musical for a new generation.

Dear Edwina JR. follows the adventures of plucky advice-giver-extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple, as she directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly “Advice-a-Palooza.” Edwina and her friends share wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends, through clever, catchy and poignant songs.
