Synopsis

This exciting drama about the Puritan purge of witchcraft in old Salem is both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of our contemporary society.  The story focuses upon a young farmer, his wife, and a young servant-girl who maliciously causes the wife’s arrest for witchcraft. The farmer brings the girl to court to admit the lie—and it is here that the monstrous course of bigotry and deceit is terrifyingly depicted.

Synopsis

The NTPA Academy is proud to present its 2nd celebration of Student Directed work: “Transformative Artistry”.  This event will feature three scenes directed entirely by students that all share a common theme: facing the challenges of growing up into a complex and often confusing life. These scene are sometimes funny, sometimes sad, but always real. Come support the best student actors and directors in the area and celebrate the work of the NTPA Academy!

Synopsis

When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that results in a tremendous peach… and launches a journey of enormous proportions. Suddenly, James finds himself in the center of the gigantic peach – among human-sized insects with equally oversized personalities – but, after it falls from the tree and rolls into the ocean, the group faces hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements. Thanks to James’ quick wit and creative thinking, the residents learn to live and work together as a family. The dangerous voyage is a success, but the adventure takes a whole new twist once they land on the Empire State Building.
