NTPA Safety Protocol Update

The North Texas Performing Arts Covid-19 Task Force of 30 medical doctors, legal counsel, board members and others meets weekly to update our safety protocols so that we can provide the safest possible environment for our students and patrons.

Those protocols have allowed us to reopen and enjoy over 35,000 visitors, 120 productions and almost 1,000 performances in our spaces without incident.

Protocol Drawdown Phase 5

Effective immediately:

  • Concessions activities can recommence.
  • Temperature checks at the door are no longer required.
  • Food and drink may be allowed in theaters in appropriate containers.
  • Row by row exiting of theatre is no longer required.
  • Water fountains will be reopened.

Beginning July 1:

  • All fully vaccinated youth and adults may enter and move throughout the NTPA facility without a mask, except for when participating in designated “mask required” shows and summer camps.
  • Summer camps must maintain 3 feet of safe social distance between all participants.
  • Unvaccinated persons are required to wear masks at all times except those actors performing on stage in designated “mask optional on stage” productions.
  • Kissing on stage will continue to not be permitted.
  • No other Covid Safety Protocols will be enforced.

Beginning August 1:

  • Masks will be required for the final week of 2021 summer camps and remaining designated “mask required” productions.
