NTPA Student Emmerson Pullen performs her 100th show

At North Texas Performing Arts, we believe that theatre has a lasting impact on the lives of our students. Today, we’re thrilled to honor one of our shining stars, Emmerson Pullen, on achieving an incredible milestone: performing in her 100th show with NTPA!

An NTPA Academy Senior and dedicated performer, Emmerson completed her 100th show this weekend with NTPA – Frisco’s Addams Family: School Edition. NTPA celebrated this monumental achievement with a special ceremony on opening night.

In addition to her activity in the classroom and on the stage, Emmerson is an Academy Ambassador and active member of NTPA’s Acting Company for Excellence (ACE), has performed for many years as part of NTPA’s Junior Theatre Festival troupe, and has performed at numerous community events representing NTPA.

Throughout her journey, Emmerson has embodied the principles of NTPA’s Ten Characters — the foundation of our mission to develop the “Character of Youth.” These guiding principles—Teamwork, Leadership, Responsibility, Respect, Self-Confidence, Integrity, Discipline, Gratitude, Positive Attitude, and Love One Another—have been central to her growth as a performer and leader.
From her debut on the NTPA stage as an Oompa Loompa in Willy Wonka JR to this momentous 100th performance, Emmerson has demonstrated the transformative power of storytelling. She has brought countless characters to life, faced new challenges with resilience, and built lasting friendships along the way.
Congratulations Emmerson! We can’t wait to see how you will shine in future productions—and in life beyond the stage.
