NTPA SILVER THEATRE is theatre dedicated to adults aged 62 and older who want to take the stage, join a cast, and experience the thrill of live performance!

Inaugural Production
Guys and Dolls!
The NTPA Silver Theatre’s inaugural production will be Guys and Dolls, based on Music Theatre International’s “Senior Theatre” adaptation. Opening February 13, 2026, this first show will kick off a full season of NTPA Silver Theatre productions. Rehearsals will be held twice per week during the day, with each production offering four performances.

NTPA Silver Theatre is led by veteran NTPA Resident Director Zayde Vetter, who brings years of experience working in mature adult living communities and has a deep understanding of the interests, needs, and abilities of our more mature adults

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN GUYS & DOLLS SR
Auditions for Guys and Dolls SR. will be offered both online and in-person. We highly encourage participants to audition in person. For any questions regarding auditions, please email Silver@ntpa.org.
Audition Deadlines:
In-person auditions will take place on Tuesday, March 31st, 1:00PM at NTPA Plano at Willow Bend Center of the Arts at the Shops at Willow Bend, 6121 W. Park Blvd., Plano, Texas, 75093. Please sign up using the form link below to secure your in-person audition time slot. Come a few minutes early to fill out a participation form for this production or have it printed and ready upon arrival.
Rehearsal Schedule:
Rehearsals are planned to take place within the hours from 1PM to 4PM Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week commencing April 14. Not all actors will be “called” for all rehearsals, and there will be online and other reasonable accommodations made to facilitate participation.

Performances will take place in the Egelston Akers Black Box Theatre in the Willow Bend Center of the Arts at the Shops at Willow Bend, 6121 W. Park Blvd., Plano, Texas, 75093 as follows:

Financial Obligations:
NTPA is a non-profit institution and is forced to charge fees to cover the costs for services delivered. Fee waivers can be made available upon request. The fees paid help underwrite the cost of scripts, the director, facilities, and other expenses incurred in the production. Actors are expected and encouraged to invite friends and family to the production and so are asked to purchase a minimum of six tickets.
Program Fee: $199 per Actor
Ticket Purchase Minimum: 6 Tickets per Actor ($13 ticket price)
