NTPA offers educational programs for students ages 5-18. With over 30 years of educational experience, NTPA Academy, After School Classes, Private Lessons, and other exciting programs make NTPA the preeminent location for a performing arts education in North Texas.
Our qualified team of instructors comprises the largest full-time team of artists employed throughout North Texas, including directors, actors, teaching artists, choreographers, and many more specialized instructors working all over the world from Hollywood to Broadway.
Theatre changes lives. At NTPA, we teach all of our students not only how to act, sing or dance, but also how to be better members of society. All students who participate in our programs will be taught the Ten Characters of North Texas Performing Arts, fostering a better future for all of us.
NTPA Academy
NTPA Academy is a high-quality educational experience in a flexible, supportive learning environment to students in grades 6-12 with a passion for the performing arts, and includes specialty classes in acting, stage combat, tech theatre, dance and more! Our students benefit from the knowledge and guidance of experienced professionals who have performed and taught in some of the most well known theatres and film stages around the United States. Academy classes continue to focus on developing life skills that can guide students through their journey to college, professional work, and adult life.
Enrolled students can earn a two-year or four-year certification in a variety of performing arts disciplines. Full-time and part-time options are available.
Private Lessons
Learn from DFW’s best acting, dance, and voice instructors! NTPA offers regular, private lessons for students who are interested in getting immediate, personalized feedback and training through our Private Lessons program. Lessons are open to students age 7+ during daytime and after school hours.
