Q. My child has no formal training, will this be a problem?
A: No! NTPA Studios is an interactive learning opportunity. Students of all experience levels will learn and grow from the Studios program.

Q: Will the film be shown more than once?
A: There is a one-day public premiere of the film. After that the students involved will receive a copy of the film.

Q: Will my student end up sitting around for hours?
A: While professional filmmaking is famous for actors sitting for hours, NTPA Studios filming process is designed to be an engaging educational experience. Students will be active and learning throughout the entire process!

Q: Do the films count as production credit for ACE/JACE?
A: Yes

Q: What if my student is not cast in a speaking role?
A: Acting and Production roles will be equally involved with the filmmaking process. Students not cast in speaking roles are encouraged to join our production team and audition again for the next one!

Q: How competitive is the audition process for speaking roles?
A: There will be many speaking roles for each film. This is an educational film program and our goal will be to give as many students as possible the opportunity to gain experience in the roles they’re most interested in.
