What is ITF?
International Thespian Festival is summer’s premier teen theatre festival for high school theatre students and teachers. Students who are in their school ITS troupe and students with no ITS affiliation may attend with NTPA!
- National Qualifiers compete in the Thespy Competitions
- Grow your knowledge with interactive workshops on every aspect of theatre — onstage, backstage, and front-of-house.
- Experience performances of all kinds: read-throughs and improv, student works and Shakespeare, one-acts and full-scale main stage productions.
- Showcase your talents through college auditions (for the class of 2025)
- Build your theatre family — you’ll meet thousands of Thespians and theatre educators and form lifelong friendships.
ITF is where you see, think, and do theatre non-stop for a week!

Open to students in 9th Grade (Graduating class of 2027) – 12th Grade (Graduation class of 2024)

Cost: Approximately $1,600
Cost includes:
- All ITF activities
- Housing in a double occupancy dorm room with early check-in
- Meal plan for all meals
- Supervision of Collegiate Pursuits Staff Chaperones
- NTPA Trip Planning Services
- Travel to and from airport in Indianapolis
- For the Class of 2025:
- Entry into ITF Virtual College Auditions. Colleges will then contact students for in-person auditions that are held at the festival.
- 1 hr of Private Audition Coaching prior to the trip.
- Filming of audition prior to audition submission.
- If you are not in the class of 2025, your cost will be decreased by $50
- International Thespian Society Troupe Membership
- If you are already a troupe member at your school, but your school is not attending the trip, we can adopt you into our troupe for ITF. Your cost will be decreased by $35.
*CHAPERONES: Chaperones are welcome but not necessary. Chaperone cost is TBD and covers All ITF activities, NTPA Trip Planning Services, housing in a single occupancy dorm room with early check-in fee, & Meal plan
*This cost does not include: Airfare/Travel, Souvenirs/ITF Swag, additional Snacks. Students traveling without a chaperone will be given a specific flight that will be linked to the Collegiate Pursuits Staff Members flights. Students will be chaperoned from airport drop-off through to airport pick-up!
