Announcing Kaitlyn Barnard – NTPA Director of Education

North Texas Performing Arts is proud to announce the promotion of Kaitlyn Barnard to the role of Director of Education!

Kaitlyn has been part of the NTPA family since 2017 and a member of the Academy faculty since its creation. Prior to this role, Kaitlyn served as the NTPA Academy Assistant Head of School and a Senior Resident Director at NTPA.
Kaitlyn brings to this exciting role a decade of educational and performing arts credentials and experience. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Woman’s University where she performed in both their opera and theater productions. She taught music and choir in Plano ISD for five years. Kaitlyn is certified in the Kodaly Method of music education and completed her third level of training in the summer of 2015. Kaitlyn is completing her Masters in Professional Counseling from Amberton University.
Kaitlyn will be overseeing NTPA’s classroom and private lesson offerings and the NTPA Academy and Conservatory, and will continue to direct youth productions.
