Christa became involved with NTPA when her daughter signed up to be part of the ensemble in the inaugural Southlake show. Christa is passionate about working with the Southlake Board and volunteer parents to build a community that everyone can call home. When Christa is not volunteering with the theatre, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new places.
Deborah Obaid
Deborah Larrison Obaid MD has been involved with NTPA since her daughters auditioned for the inaugural Southlake show. NTPA has become a home away from home for her family as her 6 children have all taken the stage. Deborah has cherished her time as show manager for many of the initial shows in Southlake and is passionate about encouraging arts education in Southlake. Deborah is honored to be a part of the Southlake team working to create a welcoming, supportive environment for NTPA directors, performers, and volunteers. In addition to being an active NTPA volunteer, Deborah also enjoys traveling with her husband Sacha and children.

As a nurse, parent, and devoted theater supporter, Michelle is thrilled to contribute to NTPA’s mission of inspiring young actors. Her family has been deeply involved with NTPA—her two children have performed in multiple productions, and they are proud to support the organization as sponsors. Behind the scenes, Michelle has found her own role backstage, assisting in each production and experiencing firsthand the dedication that brings each show to life. This hands-on involvement has given her a unique perspective on the effort and heart that go into creating a nurturing and creative space for kids. She believes in the power of theater to build confidence, foster friendships, and teach valuable life skills. Michelle looks forward to bringing her experience to help strengthen and grow the NTPA community for all families.
Alyssa Maisano
Alyssa Maisano has been involved with NTPA Southlake since January 2022 when her daughter took the stage during Legally Blonde Jr. She has then since devoted her time to set building, show managing and become a Board Member volunteering her time and talents as a Photographer and Social Media person.
Kelly McDowell
Kelly became a dedicated volunteer when her daughter Madison fell in love with theater after participating in an UpSTARt class in Southlake in 2022. Kelly saw an opportunity to support her daughter by volunteering backstage and is excited to continue serving NTPA on the Southlake Board. Kelly is not a stranger to the performing arts, she began her career by opening and operating major performing arts venues in both Atlanta, GA and Dallas, TX.

Beth has 2 boys and has been involved with NTPA since 2022 when her youngest son Riggs did his first show. She joined the NTPA Southlake Board in 2023 and has volunteered with multiple productions. When she’s not at the theater she is playing tennis or cheering her boys on in all sports.
