Free Vocal Wellness for Lifelong Voice Health

We invite students and parents to join us for a special workshop all about vocal health with Melanie Turner and speech language pathologists from the UTSW Voice Center. This team of professional fellowship-trained laryngologists and speech therapists will provide an engaging and informative seminar on vocal health for students and parents interested in equipping themselves for a lifelong career of singing.
About Melanie Turner
Melanie Turner, M.S., is a speech-language pathologist in the Department of Otolaryngology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of voice disorders, speech, and swallowing and in voice treatment for head and neck cancer patients and laryngectomees.
Ms. Turner earned her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She completed a clinical fellowship at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System. She also holds bachelor’s degrees in speech communication disorders and Spanish from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, she joined UT Southwestern in 2022.
